The minister of health, hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu has commissioned three (3)
polyclinics namely, Sege in Ada west district, Ashiaman in Ashiaman municipality and
Ogbojo in Adentan municipality all in the Greater Accra region to promote quality health
care delivery in the country.
The Health Minister was accompanied by Dr. Anthony Nsiah Asare, Director General of Ghana
Health Service (GHS), and other Directors from the Ministry of Health.
The 30-bed polyclinics had an Administration block, Pharmacy, Operation Theatre, Delivery room,
Standard Ward, Paediatric Ward, Obstetric Ward, Maternity Ward, Laundry and Cold Room
to store corpse before taking to the mortuary. According to Hon. Kwaku Agyemang Manu,
this is part of the 5 polyclinics the president promised to deliver to bring quality health care to the
doorsteps of the people nationwide and achieve the Universal Health Coverage.






 Kwaku Agyeman Manu, who is also a Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa Central, in the Bono Region
charged health workers, who would be posted to the new polyclinics to ensure zero tolerance of maternal
mortality at the facility and urged the residents to register for the national health insurance card so that they
can get better medical care when they are ill. He also added that nobody has abandoned
the former President project he did and the commissioner of the polyclinics shows clearly they will
continue to deliver the promises of the president Nana Akufo-Addo.
